The discovery of rapid coherent oscillations in the light curve of the remnant of Nova Herculis 1963 (=V533 Her) is reported. The oscillation is continuously present and strictly periodic, with a period of 63.63309 + or - 0.00004 s, and a mean amplitude of 1%. The brightness of the star in 1978 (B = 15.7 mag) suggests that it experienced a 'preoutburst brightening' by 2 mag over about 40 years. The properties of the oscillation are very similar to those of the 71-s oscillation of DQ Her, but the outburst properties of these two classical novae were very different.
