In this contributions are summarized information on more than ten-year-long work of open observational group of amateur observers, which makes the CCD photometry of miscellaneous kinds of variable stars and transit exoplanets at Observatory and Planetarium of Johann Palisa in Ostrava. This group co-operates with other scientific programmes and the members of the Eridanus group are coauthors of many scientific papers (808 CCD observations of 275 objects, http://ostrava.astronomy.cz/int.php). Group of observers - Eridanus - is also ready to make observations for every professional astronomer.
