The work done in the past year covered a wide range of fields including origin of the cosmological X-ray background, properties of X-ray clusters, a comparison of the thermodynamic properties of a suite of currently popular cosmological models, topological properties of galaxy distributions as a function of galaxy type, nonlinear patterns in gravitational clustering process, development of a ray tracing algorithm to study the gravitational lensing by cosmic structures, effects of weak gravitational lensing by large-scale structure on the determination of q0, and implementation of a new accurate hydro-N-body code. We are now undertaking a major study of the four most attractive cosmological models, including tilted Omega = 1 cold dark matter model, low Omega cold dark matter model with a cosmological constant, mixed hot and cold matter model, and low Omega open cold dark matter model.
