Some general properties of relativistic motions are presented in terms of a system of identities and equations. In the case of the material motions of the universe, these identities lead to a system of equations that are mathematically identical with the Maxwell-Lorentz equations but suggest new properties that are not evident in the classical form. The electric charge and energy (mass) densities are derived directly from the equations proposed here. Results obtained for gravitational motions and the effect of the rotation of celestial bodies on the motion of satellites are discussed.
