Abstract

A mathematical model has been constructed for making coordinate measurements of objects relative to reference stars in the focal plane of a wide-field astrograph. The measurements are made using a CCD that is part of a tracking system of a photoelectric cassette. Numerical estimates of the accuracy of the measurements are obtained for 10-25 m objects using Zeiss 40-cm astrographs.
