Visual and photographic studies of the planet Saturn and its ring system were carried out by 18 ALPO Saturn Section observers between February 14, 1988 and November 28, 1988 with instruments ranging from 7.6 to 105.0 cm in aperture. Saturn showed a slight increase in its atmospheric activity when compared with the 1986-87 observing season. The inclination of the rings to the line of sight, B, reached a maximum of +26.936 deg during 1987-88; exposing the northern hemisphere of the globe and the north face of the rings to inspection. This report is accompanied by references, drawings, photographs, graphs, and tables.
