With combination of the full disk magnetograms taken by SOHO/MDI and vector magnetograms taken by ground-based magnetographs, we have generated the vector magnetic field synoptic charts that are able to show magnetic nonpotentiality which is believed to be the source to fuel solar eruptive events such as flares and Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs). Those synoptic charts also enable us to reproduce the global non-linear force free field by means of using the Boundary Element Method suggested by Yan and Sakurai (2000, Solar Physics, 195, 83). We compared this non-linear force free field with the potential field and discussed the difference and possible relationship with flares and CMEs in detail. SOHO is a mission of international cooperation between the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA.
