Results are presented for UBV photometry of 283 flare stars at minimum light in the Pleiades region. A technique is developed and used to take account of background effects during photographic UBV photometry with an iris microphotometer. The data obtained show that the Pleiades flare stars are located on both sides of the main sequence on the (V, B-V) color-luminosity diagram, but are mostly located above the main sequence on the (U-B, B-V) diagram. It is noted that this distribution is almost the same as that for flare stars in the Orion association.
