Radio flux measurements of 76 galaxies are given. Each galaxy was observed at least at one of the frequencies of 80, 160 and 8870 MHz. A low-frequency cut-off in the spectra of optically bright radio weak galaxies is a common feature. Free-free absorption seems to be a likely mechanism for the observed low frequency cut-off. The change in spectral index over the cut-off point is higher at high spectral indices. It is greatest for Sc and Sbc galaxies and becomes smaller for earlier type galaxies.
