IF a hot liquid comes into contact with a cold vaporisable liquid a
violent explosion may occur1-5 such interactions are often
called fuel-coolant interactions (FCIs). In this letter we apply FCI
theory to the problem of matter and antimatter interacting on an
astronomical scale.
