An improved SPEA, which is a multi-objective evolutionary algorithm be pointed out. And the algorithm has high capability to solve problems defined in large scale space compared to the old one. On applying the algorithm to solve minimizing time-energy problem of orbital transformation which is always encountered in space mission, the computing results show that the algorithm is valid and efficient.
