We present examples from our complete sample of 21 nearby, radio-loud, early-type galaxies where we have spectroscopically detected signs of emission from jet material or interactions between disk and jet material within the central kpc. These results may help us to better understand the interaction between the nuclear activity and the circumnuclear material in radio galaxies.
