Some of the techniques developed and used for RoboScope monitoring are reviewed and evaluated for their utility. The scientific emphasis is on quite long-term photometric changes which, for the density of data points required, are impractical to study via conventional techniques. Some examples will be given of unusual and unexpected long-term light curves of CVs that have been studied.
The status of future robotic work at this site will also be discussed, including software migration, and automated spectroscopy.
