We present Very Large Array (VLA) and Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) of the water masers toward the enigmatic FU Orionis object Z CMa. The bolometric luminosity of Z CMa of 3500 solar luminosities is completely dominated by disk emission, but the star drives a large-scale (3.6 pc) and high-velocity outflow (radial velocities up to 620 km/s). Z CMa has been shown to have an infrared companion with separation 0.1 arcsecond. The water maser emission has a modest radial velocity extent of only about 10 km/s. The distribution of water masers at high angular resolution shows a linear structure that could be either a shock front of the high-velocity outflow very close to the central object or part of the accretion disk itself. Our presentation will give comments on which of these scenarios are possible based on the alignment of the large-scale flow, the position angle of the water maser emission, and the possible connection to the binary system.
