We present a search based on D0 data for the standard model Higgs boson in final states of two tau leptons and at least two jets, with one of the tau's decaying to a muon and the second decaying hadronically. A multivariate analysis based upon a set of variables that distinguish signals from backgrounds is employed. The ratio of 95% C.L. Higgs cross section lower limits from the data to that expected in the standard model is obtained. The combination of these limits and companion searches in other channels involving tau pairs are presented. Many of the techniques for this search are common with those described in the companion abstract``Search for the Higgs boson in electron tau plus jet final states" and the two presentations will jointly cover these.
