NASA's Ultraviolet, Visible, and Gravitational Astrophysics (UVGA) program has two major components: (1) research and analysis (R&A), and (2) flight missions. The scope of the R&A program is discussed in context of NASA Office of Space Science (OSS) strategic plan. The procedure for selection of projects for funding, the funding profile, and details of currently funded projects in the areas of suborbital flight instrumentation, detector development, laboratory astrophysics, UV technology, ground based astrophysics, and relativity and gravitational astrophysics are discussed.
