Swift Ultraviolet/Optical Telescope (UVOT) and X-Ray Telescope (XRT) started observing the type Ic SN 2007I (CBET #807, CBET #808) on 2007-01-20.03 UT (V and B bands) and 2007-01-20.08 UT (UVW1 band). The following UVOT magnitudes were measured: V = 17.9 (825 s exposure time), B = 19.2 (797 s), UVW1 [181-321nm] = 19.5 (7,719 s). The magnitudes have not been corrected for extinction. Due to the small offset from the center of the host galaxy (1.1"), similar to the spatial resolution of the UVOT instrument (1.9"), and possible contamination, errors are estimated to be 0.4 mag.
