In this poster we will present the results of our study on the innermost region of the quasar 1510-089, based on VLBA-ground array at 22 GHz, 8.4 GHz and VLBA-HALCA observations at 5 GHz. Proper motion has been detected in this source, with βapp ~ 2 for at least two components along the parsec-scale jet. The lower limit to the Lorentz factor is of the order of few units, slightly lower than expected from the variability and emission at high energies for this source.
