The Workshop presented papers which included the tectonic implications of plain formation on Mercury, the statistical approach to the study of planetary surfaces, classification of lunar rock and glass samples using the G-mode central method, and the entropy of a cratered surface. Star formation, fission and geosynchronous release of the moon, and the moon as the origin of the earth's continents were also discussed.
