Most of the R Coronae Borealis (RCB) type stars and the Extreme Helium (EHe) B stars show periodic or semi-regular light and velocity variations caused by radial and nonradial stellar pulsations. These pulsations are excited by the kappa-mechanism and the strange-mode instability. We discuss the properties and the modelling of these pulsations.
