Observations tell us that the halo contains high stage ions such as C(+3) , N(+4) , and O(+5) and even higher ions responsible for x-ray emission. Therefore, a significant, but poorly determined, fraction of the halo's volume must be hot. Various theoretical scenarios predict hot gas in the halo. In this work, we are interested in more accurately determining the contributions made by isolated, halo supernova remnants. A one-dimensional, Lagrangian, hydrodynamic code is used to simulated the long term evolution of the halo supernova remnants. The resulting high ion and x-ray contributions are presented.
