We present the results of a survey of neutral hydrogen emission in the Magellanic Clouds with the Australia Telescope Compact Array. For the SMC, the angular resolution is 1farcm6 over a field of 20 deg(2) . For the LMC, the angular resolution is 0farcm8 over a field of 130 deg(2) . For both clouds, the velocity resolution is 1.6 km s(-1) . In the SMC, we have kinematically identified eight supershells and nearly 500 giant shells. We use these to study the three-dimensional structure of the SMC and its evolutionary history. A burst of star-formation of age 5.4 Myr appears responsible for much of the present state of the interstellar medium in SMC. A preliminary analysis of our results for the LMC has identified, for the first time, a southern spiral arm.
