Improved orbital elements of the Delta Sge system were determined, using radial velocity measurements. Combined with phase dependent speckle interferometric measurements of the angular separation of the components and with a distance of 100 pc, a mass ratio of 3.5 is obtained. The distance was determined under the assumption that the companion is a main sequence star with effective temperature = 10,500 K (B9) as found from IUE fluxes. A mass loss rate of 0.00000002 M/yr is found for the M2 II primary, using circumstellar FeII absorption lines in the UV spectrum of the B star companion.
