Neutrino transport in a dense magnetized plasma is considered. It is shown that the neutrino flux has contributions proportional to the magnetic field B and its derivatives. This effect violates reflectional symmetry and is a result of parity nonconservation in weak interactions. The magnitude of the effect is estimated and its astrophysical implications are discussed. In particular, the recoil velocity of a neutron star resulting from an asymmetric neutrino emission is of the order 30(B/1015 G) km s-1.
