We present the preliminary results of a globally fitted galactic model to our eighty-eight selected galactic structure fields. The fields are from the Minnesota Automated Plate Scanner Catalog of the first epoch Palomar Observatory Sky Survey. Our fitting technique is a stochastic search based on a genetic algorithm. This technique is superior in computing time to those requiring numerical derivatives or a grid search. In addition we can examine solutions by fitness, giving a method for determining covariance between model parameters in the best few percent of possible solutions. The presentation will also include several visualizations of data and models.
