The ranges of pulsars were determined using the dispersion of electromagnetic signals in interstellar plasma. The origin of pulsar radiation and the dispersion of pulsar radiation as a means to determine the extended HII-regions are discussed. The determination of electron density in interstellar space and in the HII-regions is explained. The computer program PDIST for the range determination of pulsars is enclosed. The results of the range determination are listed, and the spatial distribution of pulsars is discussed.
