Provisional values have been obtained for the orbital period and velocity semi-amplitude of the hydrogen-deficient binary CPD -58°2721 (=LSS 1922). The period (≡43 day) is the shortest so far discovered for a member of this class. The velocity semi-amplitude K1 = 61±8 km s-1 provides an estimate for the mass function f(m) ≡ 1.0. The need for further radial velocity measurements is emphasized.
