Multicolour UBV photoelectric observations of the eclipsing binary
system V889 Aql have been carried out. Photometric elements of the orbit
and absolute characteristics of the components have been determined. A
third light is found to be 18.5%; it corresponds to a main-sequence star
of 1.8 M_sun;.
