The pulsation of low surface-gravity stars is investigated with a model sequence of yellow supergiant stars. The parameters of models are L = 3200 solar luminosities, T(eff) = 5300 K, and M = 2.0, 1.5, 1.25, 1.0 solar masses. The character of the pulsation changes drastically with decreasing surface-gravity. Two massive models converge to each limit-cycle, but two less massive models show only quasi-periodic behavior. The amplitudes of the latter models change every several cycles with strong shock waves. Violent phenomena in the outer atmosphere may cause the mass-loss. The pulsation periods are close to the linear nonadiabatic ones derived by using Takeuti's (1964) boundary conditions.
