Fourier phases of Type II Cepheids with periods 1d - 3d are reanalysed and compared with similar data for classical Cepheids, using a new phase definition recently proposed by Stellingwerf and Donohoe. It is found that this definition allows an improved analysis mainly due to the possibility of comparison with a standard case. It is shown that the available data for the Type II Cepheids are in good agreement with the assumption of a resonance at a period of about 1d.5.
