The possibility of the two-position radar sounding of the Moon and other planets using the natural kilometric emission of the Earth and other sources is examined. It is suggested that the radio sounding of the soil and plasmasphere of the Moon and other planets using terrestrial emission in the 100 to 500 kHz range is already possible. In studies of the Moon and Mercury, the maximum sounding depth of the soil appears to be 10 km. In the proposed scheme, it is proposed that the reflected radio emission be received by an artificial planetary satellite.
