The authors have extended their recent work on the rotational velocities of white dwarfs by analysis of the sharp core of the Hα line to a larger sample of stars with the goal of eventually obtaining the distribution of rotational velocities and thereby improving the understanding of the question of retention of angular momentum in the later stages of evolution of these stars. There are no stars in the sample which show v sin i > 60 km s-1.
