It is demonstrated that round dynamical models can be fitted to available population II star kinematical data provided that the models are not constrained to be scale-free. The kinematical behavior is illustrated using a Michie-Bodenheimer type model modified by adding stars on circular orbits in the outer part of the Galactic halo. Line-of-sight velocity dispersions, of a q = 0.80 model of the present type, in the 18 Galactic halo bins of Levison and Richstone (1986) are presented.
