General relativistic models filled with dust have been calculated with Sandage's new value for the Hubble constant of 53 km per sec per Mpc. Possible discrepancies between the present values of the average density of matter, the calculated ages of the models, and the preferred values of the deceleration parameter are discussed. The apparent contradictions can be reduced by using a small negative value for the cosmological constant.
