An attempt has been made to re-evaluate the photospheric iron abundance
by comparing computed theoretical line profiles with observations. Our
resulting abundance is found to be in good agreement with that of Garz
and Kock(1969), when the logarithmic abundance of iron is taken to be
7.5.
