Neutron stars and incompressible fluid spheres are considered in the Jordan-Brans-Dicke theory. It is shown that their parameters (mass, radius, surface redshift) do not differ appreciably from the corresponding Einstein values even for ω = 0and various semi-realistic equations of state. For incompressible fluid spheres the differences between both theories of gravitation are most pronounced. We find an apparent instability of the incompressible fluid.
