We present here the detailed properties of the standing, propagating or oscillating shock waves which are very common to study the accretion and winds using our suitably modified effective potential around compact objects. We specifically study the entire parameter space spanned by the specific energy and angular momentum and divide it depending on the nature of the solution topology. In future, these solutions can be used as guide-lines to test numerical simulation provided the Kerr parameter remains within -1 ≤ a ≤ 0.8.
