Maxwellian averaged capture cross sections on the nuclei Cr-50,52,53; Fe-54,56,57; Co-59; and Ni-58,60,61,62,64 have been determined for temperatures between kT 5 keV and 75 keV. The abundance-times-cross-section curve of Fe-56, Fe-57, Co-59, Ni-60, Ni-61, Ni-62, and Ni-64 as a function of atomic weight shows a maximum at mass number 60. The smooth decrease of the curvature for the nickel isotopes was considered as an indication of the s-process origin of these nuclei.
