The World Wide Web has the potential to revolutonize how we teach many of our classes; however, before an entire course is placed and taught on the netork, Web pages can be used directly in the classroom as a multi--media presentation device. Classes in general astronomy traditionally require the use of a wide range of media display techniques such as overhead projectors, 35 mm slides, audio/video, and computer simulations. Web pages constructed with HyperText Markup Language (HTML) can access all of these media forms for use during class. I review the necessary techniques to construct Web pages for lecture presentation and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the current form of HTML. A brief sample lesson is presented where the students are supplied with a skeletal outline of the pages that will form the basis of their lecture notes. Finally, I address problems such as availability of the latest software and problems created by hardware limitations.
