A 100 kWe closed Brayton cycle power conversion system utilizing a
recuperator coupled to a NERVA derivative reactor for a lunar power
plant is presented. Power plant mass versus recuperator effectiveness,
compressor inlet temperature, and turbine pressure ratio are described.
