Analysis of VX type nerve agents with a gas chromatography-Fourier
transform infrared spectroscopy (GC-FTIR) system using cryodeposition of
the eluents is described. An interpretation system based on comparison
of characteristic spectral features to the features in reference
spectra, is used to characterize side chains in VX type nerve agents.
