Instabilities, Galaxies: Formation, Large-Scale Structure Of Universe

We adopt a new result in non-equilibrium statistical mechanics to follow
the time evolution of the density of an exploding one-dimensional
gravitational gas. We show analytically that the resulting structure
formation is a natural consequence of many-body physics.
