We report new 4.2 Ga Ar-Ar ages of 2-4 mm impact breccias from the
Apollo 16 landing site. We explore the possibility that the South
Pole-Aitken Basin may be the cause of these 4.2 Ga ages and others
observed at the Apollo 17 landing site.
