The paper discusses the results of a study, conducted by SYSTEMSI, of the projected Moon Outpost, as a base for exploration, concentation of resources, and conducting experiments on the use of lunar materials. Particular attention is given to the Moon Outpost requirements; the design of the Direct Entry Crew Return Vehicle; the Moon Outpost elements, which will include the habitation module, inflatable living volume, EVA module, resource module, construction services vehicle, and long exploration rover. Also discussed is the Moon Transportation System, including the orbital transfer Vehicle, Lunar Landing Vehicle, and LEO support.
