Spatially-resolved temperature measurements of the hot gas in NGC 4636 obtained with the ASCA SIS are used in conjunction with the density profile derived from the ROSAT PSPC to derive a detailed mass profile that is also consistent with the stellar velocity dispersion and ROSAT PSPC temperature profiles. We find that NGC 4636 becomes dark matter dominated at roughly the de Vaucouleurs radius. At a distance of 100 kpc from the galactic center the dark-to-luminous matter density ratio is about 80 and the integrated mass-to-light ratio is about 150.
