Priority areas of research and relevant programs for the HST are discussed, including studies of the collimation and propagation of jets from young stars, the shock wave structure of Herbig-Haro objects, high-resolution images of radio hotspots, and UV spectroscopy of low-mass X-ray double stars. The principal research aims of each of these areas of effort are pointed out, and the main investigators are mentioned.
