We use optical, infrared, and UV star counts at the galactic poles to determine the Sun's distance from the galactic plane. The optical counts of disk population stars are from the APS Catalog of the POSS I for 6 sixteen square degree fields at the NGP and at the SGP. The infrared star counts are from the IRAS Point Source Catalog at 12 and 25 microns and the much more limited UV counts ( at 1660A) are from FAUST. A preliminary result from two paired Sky Survey fields gives 8 pc for Zsun while the IR and UV counts suggest Z distances of 15.5 pc and 14 pc respectively. We present a more complete analysis of more fields and a discussion of the results.
