The authors report on the results of observing 10 weak sources near the equatorial plane from an MK2 VLBI survey at 5 GHz with 5 telescopes in China, Italy, and South Africa. The correlated flux densities of the 10 weak sources are presented and some total flux densities measured with the HartRAO telescope are given, which may be useful for further VLBI observations with the MK3 or VLBA recording system.
