Current and planned observations of stellar oscillations are all limited to oscillation modes of low degree. Here we suggest for the distant future an ambitious long base interferometric space mission capable of resolving stellar surface and of measuring high degree oscillation modes in nearbu stars. The mission concept is based on a formation flying multi-component interferometer.
