We observed the Type Ia supernova SN 2006X (IAUC 8667) with the VLA on Nov 17, 2006, 14.26 UT at 4.88 GHz and on Nov 20, 2006, 13.44 UT at 8.44 GHz. The supernova is not detected in either of the observations. The 2-sigma upper limit on the flux density of the SN in 4.88 GHz band is 88 microJy and 68 microJy in 8.44 GHz. SN 2006X is in the galaxy NGC 4321 (M100), which is also the host galaxy of SN 1979C (type II-L, radio bright), SN 1959E, SN 1914A and SN 1901B.
